Welcome to the PSE.NET newsletter for 10th March. First of all please accept my apologies for not being able to run the E-Seminar last week. We had a few technical difficulties at the last moment that made it impossible for us to deliver the seminar. Who would have thought that computer technology would have the occasional hic-up? ;-) So this week we are not only delivering the Ultimate Guide to Color e-seminar, but we have also release a huge Layers video tutorial. Layers are one of those areas that are tricky to get the hang of when you first start editing, but once you understand them you will never go back to tweaking a flat file. Check it out here. Good luck with you imaging this week and don't forget the e-seminar tonight. Philip Andrews |

One of the key areas that causes problems for Elements users is matching what they see on screen with what gets printed. A key factor in getting these two devices to match is having a calibrated monitor. For those users who don't own a calibration device such as a Spyder or ColorMunki you can use either the utility that came with your operating system or for older machines you can use the Adobe Gamma utility. If you have Adobe Gamma on your computer then use these stes to set up your monitor. Have a look at the technique here. Click here to go to the Techniques archive. |
